About Us

Hi! For those who do not know me, my name is Sherry. I am a mom, a business owner, and have opened my microschool in 2020. I have been working with children of all ages, in many different environments, for over 27 years. In 2004, I completed my bachelors degree in Business Management and in 2008 I received a Masters in Business Law. My husband, Beau, is an aircraft mechanical engineer. We both left our corporate jobs in 2020 right after covid shut the world down. I have always been an advocate for education. I opened a cooking school for kids in 2018 but after covid the cooking school became Kansas Learning Academy to help busy parents a safe option for their elementary school children to work on their class work.   

​It is my goal to create a fun, safe, nurturing and educational space for young children. A space for children to learn, grow, socialize, and play with others their own age. We all know parenting is AMAZING, but can also be exhausting! Too often we try to do it all on our own. I hope to create a space within our community, that not only offers solutions to things like before & after school care and preschool/childcare. Our school also has options for online learning as well as camps and enrichment classes.
